SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — A Springfield community outreach program is asking the community for help after a local Oxford House location caught fire.

Feeding Springfield, run by Beth Rees, is asking for donations for men who lost their belongings in the fire.

An Oxford House is transitional housing for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.

Feeding Springfield is looking for men's clothing, new socks and underwear, coats, hoodies, jackets and hygiene products. 

Anyone looking to donate can contact the organization at 217-904-0643 for drop-off coordination.
