DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Millikin University has formally inaugurated Dr. Dean Pribbenow as its president.
The school hosted a ceremony at the Kirkland Fine Arts Center in Decatur.
Pribbenow took over as president in July 2025 after a nationwide search.
He said the event means more to him than just taking on the title.
"To me, it signals the confidence from the board of trustees and the community in my leadership," Pribbenow said.
The inauguration also kicked off Millikin's 125th anniversary celebration.
