CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) — A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after crashing into a tractor on Saturday.
It happened just before 4 p.m. in the area of Homer Lake Road and County Road 2275 East.
The Champaign County Sheriff's Office said both vehicles were going west on Homer Lake Road when the motorcycle tried to pass the tractor as it was turning.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver and passengers in the tractor were not hurt.
Police are still investigating the crash.
