DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A public safety panel discussion in Decatur will give the public a chance to ask officials questions directly.
The Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations (CONO) will host the discussion, featuring Decatur Fire Chief Neil Elder, Macon County Sheriff Jim Root, Decatur Police Chief Brad Allen, and a representative from the Macon County State's Attorney's Office.
CONO said the event will allow residents to ask questions of the police, fire and sheriff's officials directly.
The event is free and will feature two NOAA weather radios as door prizes for attendees.
The panel will be in the Children's Auditorium at the Decatur Public Library on Saturday, April 11 from 1-2:30 p.m.
