PARIS, Ill. (WAND) - Remote Area Medical is bringing a free clinic to the City of Paris, hoping to make healthcare more accessible.

The clinic will take place June 13 and 14 at Paris High School, with doors opening at 6 a.m.

Residents will have a chance to get free dental, vision and medical care. Staff will serve anyone in need until capacity is reached.

A sponsor of the event said that he's seen people wait overnight to be seen at the clinic.

"Because they know they're gonna get some great quality care from great doctors and great volunteers, and so, we try to help as many people as we can," said Longview Capital Corp. CMO Cam Pepper.

No ID, insurance, or payment is required, and visitors will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
