MAROA, Ill. (WAND) - A new breakfast and lunch spot is coming to Maroa.
The Smack'n Tacos Facebook account posted a picture on April 15 of owner Marcos Fuentes in front of the Maroa Community Building at 119 W. Main with the caption, "Another one."
Fuentes told WAND News that the tentative opening date for the restaurant, named Early on Main, is Tuesday, May 19.
On the menu will be breakfast staples, including pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos and loaded breakfast shoes, along with lunch items like Monte Cristo, burgers, pony shoes and wraps.
Fuentes also owns Spread N Buns in Decatur and Agave & Lime in Maroa.
According to Fuentes, he is opening a food truck called Holy Guacamoly Taco Truck that will be parked at Kurent Safety by Catepillar in Decatur. It will serve burritos, tacos, birria and nachos.
