Springfield, IL - A Springfield man who played Santa Claus has been sentenced to prison for child pornography.
A federal court judge sentenced 50-year-old August Billek to more than eight years in prison. He pled guilty to receiving child porn after his arrest in January.
At the time, he was working part time as "Downtown the Clown" and as Santa Claus during Christmas.
