Many July 4th events, fireworks moved to Sunday

Rain called off many 4th of July celebrations Saturday, some of which were moved to Sunday.

In Decatur, the Lakeside Music and Arts Festival at Nelson Park was cancelled Saturday with some evening concerts moved inside the Beach House. The event went on as planned from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

The Decatur Park Singers performance was rescheduled to Sunday night from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the postponed fireworks to follow at 9:15 p.m. in Nelson Park.

Dodds park - Champaign - 9:15 p.m.

Sportsman's Club - Warrensburg - dusk

Blue Mound Lions Club event- Meridian H.S. - 9:00 p.m.

Downtown - Maroa - 9:00 p.m.

Taylorville Lake - Taylorville - 8:30 p.m.

Airport - Rantoul - dusk
