SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — The name of a woman killed on New Year's Day has been released by the coroner.
Kilanna Gladney, 31, was shot around the 1600 block of South 17th Street around noon. She was taken to a local hospital, but did not survive.
Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon said that Gladney died from a single gunshot wound.
