SPRINGFIELD, IL- The Pepsi Bottling Company is planning to expand in Springfield, which could add twenty jobs to the area.
The Pepsi plant will move from its current Cook Street location to a lot near Dirksen Parkway and Grand Avenue.
Springfield could receive a grant of up to $6,000 for sidewalks, lighting and other improvements near the new plant.
It is still unsure when construction will start.
