SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A water main replacement project is set for West Washington Street in Springfield, according to City Water, Light and Power.Â
CWLP said that traffic on W. Washington Street between Amos and Lincoln Streets, and Amos St. between Monroe and W. Washington Streets will be limited while repairs are made.Â
Repairs will begin on Wednesday.
The project will take several weeks, and lanes will reopen following repairs.Â
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes.Â
