EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WAND) – Police say one of two Walmart theft suspects tried to make a fraudulent return.
Officers say the item return attempt happened on July 22. That suspect is a white man who stands at about 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. Police say he has forearm tattoos. A security camera photo attached to this story shows the suspect, who has a baseball cap on his head.
Police say a second theft happened earlier, just after 9:30 p.m. on July 16. Security cameras caught a car they believe the female suspect was driving, which they say was a gray or tan SUV and possibly a Jeep Liberty.
Officers say she is a white woman who is about 50 years old, has a medium build and may wear glasses.
Officers did not say what items they believe the suspects stole.
