DECATUR, IL- A registered sex offender returned to the Macon County Courthouse Wednesday.
Paul Huber, 61, pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of being a registered sex offender within 500 feet of a playground.
Warrensburg Police arrested Huber in Illini Park in early October.
Residents say Huber had been making visits to the park for several months before his arrest. Huber's listed address is in Harristown.
Huber is on the sex offender registry for a child porn conviction. He returns to court January 31st and remains free on bond.
