Search for new Millikin Women's Basketball Coach underway after Olivia Lett's departure

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Millikin University Athletics Department is starting the search for a new women's head basketball coach.

This comes after the departure of Head Coach Olivia Lett, who left for a new head coaching position.

The announcement of Lett's new position will be made next week.

Over six seasons, Lett led Millikin to a 105-48 overall record. Her coaching record includes two College Conference of Illinois Wisconsin regular season titles and two conference tournament crowns.

Lett led Millikin to three appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Millikin's Director of Athletics Dr. Craig White said, "We are extremely grateful for the impact Coach Lett has had on the Millikin's women's basketball program over the last six years. We wish Olivia well in her new endeavor. I am committed to finding a head coach that will be able to continue the great tradition of the Millikin women's basketball program."
