CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) – Police say someone fired gunshots near a Champaign school Monday.
Officers say they responded at about 1:15 p.m. to an address along Crescent Drive, where they found multiple shell casings. That street is near Centennial High School. Police specified that no shots were fired on school property.
They say there were no reported injuries.
The Champaign Police Department is continuing to investigate on Monday evening.
