TILTON, Ill. (WAND) - A Tilton man has been arrested for child pornography. 

Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 5 special agents arrested 23-year-old Ryan N. Emory for 11 counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography - Child under 13 and one count of Dissemination of Child Pornography - moving depiction.

In November 2024, ISP agents received a cyber tip that Emory was possibly possessing child sex abuse materials.

On February 20, 2025, a search warrant was executed in the 1000 block of Glendale Avenue in Tilton. Emory was taken into custody and transported to the Vermilion County Public Safety Building for a detention hearing.

ISP agents were assisted by the Danville Police Department, Tilton Police Department, Vermilion County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
