URBANA-CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Community members of Urbana-Champaign were up on Sunday doing a good deed for the community and it definitely didn't go unrecognized.Â
Community members say they saw a couple of complaints on the Facebook page "Spotted in Chambana" about all the trash that was laying around all of Prospect Ave.Â
The members all gathered in front of Walmart from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. picking up all the dirt that was piling up the streets and had one thing in return: a free car wash!Â
These members hope that they can encourage more people to go green and have more people join in their future events to save the earth.Â
