DECATUR, IL- A woman who allegedly helped her brother cover-up a murder plot was back in court Thursday morning.
Katrina Giles, 20, entered a plea of not guilty to multiple counts, including murder, attempted murder, aggravated cruelty to animals and home invasion charges.
Back in August, Macon County Sheriff's Deputies say Katrina Giles helped plan, and then later tried to cover-up, her brother Timothy's alleged murder of a mother and her daughter and the attempted murder of a third woman.
Both Katrina and Timothy Giles are being held in the Macon County Jail. The siblings are charged with killing 57 year-old Cindanette Eaton and her daughter, Lindsey Eaton, in their home in Harristown. Cindanette's other daughter, Casey, was also attacked. Court records show Casey Eaton and Timothy Giles were involved in a child custody dispute.
On Monday, police charged Timothy Giles, 27, with solicitation of murder. Police say they caught Giles on tape in the Macon County Jail trying to hire another inmate to kill Casey Eaton.
Timothy Giles is now on lockdown in the jail for 23 hours a day until his trial.
