CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois struggled to get anything going Saturday against USC at home.
And the question fans have now is will they be able to perform with a key player out injured.
For the second straight game the teams leading scorer Kasparas Jakucionis sat out with a left forearm injury.
While they able to perform Wednesday night against Penn State the offense fell short against the Trojans at home.
The team said they are in the mindset of next man up mentality and need to produce when KJ is not on the court.
Head Coach Brad Underwood said he went through his pregame rituals and they aren't going to put him back on the court until he's 100%.
