Decatur Park District holds Jr. golf camp

FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) — This week over 50 kids came out to Hickory Point Golf Course for the Decatur Golf Academy Junior Camps.

After rain washed out the first two days, the young golfers were able to take the course and learn all the basics of golf while also getting real course experience.

Instructors said while all the kids have fun they also have a blast during the week.

While there are no more junior golf camps this summer the park district is hosting their annual City Junior Golf Tournament on July 24-25th.
