CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois women are preparing to face their third straight ranked opponent, this time against #19 Ohio State.

The Fighting Illini were unable to follow up on their win over #8 Maryland on New Year's Day, having lost to the 15th-ranked Michigan State Spartans 81-75 on Sunday. Similar to Illinois, the Buckeyes are off to a 13-2 start, with their lone losses coming to top-ranked UConn and #4 UCLA. 

Illinois is seeking its first win in four matchups against Ohio State with Shauna Green at the helm.
