This will be the first matchup between the Illini and the Trojans.

Heading into the first-ever meeting between Illinois and USC, the Trojans sit atop the Big Ten standings with a 14-1 conference record and a 24-2 mark overall. USC is currently riding a five-game winning streak, which has included home victories over No. 8 Ohio State, No. 1 UCLA, and No. 22 Michigan State.
