(WAND) -- Illinois freshman guard Will Riley was drafted 21st in the first round by the Utah Jazz.Â
In his one year with the Illini Riley played in 35 games starting nine of them. He averaged 12.6 points per game, shooting just over 43% from the field and just over 32% from 3's.Â
On defense he tallied 10 blocks, nine steals and 145 rebounds.Â
Riley had 22 games scoring double figures with six 20-point games, and set an Illinois freshman record for points in a debut with 31 points against Eastern Illinois. He also set an Illinois freshman point record in an NCAA Tournament game with 22 against Xavier.Â
He was also named Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year.
