CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Illinois men's basketball grad-transfer Marcus Domask announced he will not be returning to the Illini program for another season.
In a post to his Twitter page he said, "At this time, I have exhausted all my possible eligibility in college and will be entering my name in and preparing for the 2024 NBA Draft." Domask had been attempting to obtain a waiver from the NCAA, allowing him to play for another year following an injury he sustained as a sophomore at Southern Illinois. The injury during the 2020-21 season came after ten games and sidelined him the remainder of the season.
