DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) --Â Spring sports entering the last stretch of the regular season and Millikin baseball seems to be getting hot at the right time.
The Big Blue are winners of 5 of their last 6 games, currently sitting at 23-8 overall and in second place in the CCIW standings.
This season the team has had their ups and downs with a handful of new guys but head coach Brandon Townsend said they are all finding their roles on the team.
Adding with a newer team their defense has been one of the keys to their success this season.
