CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Former Cobra baseball player Kevin Kiermaier has gone all the way with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Kiermaier is a center fielder for the Dodgers, who just won the World Series.

But before making it to the big leagues, Kiermaier showed his stuff at Parkland College. According to Parkland's website, Kiermaier played for two full seasons from 2008-2010, helping the Cobras to a 99-22 record, winning two MWAC and Region 24 Championships, and being named NJCAA All-American in both seasons.
Kiermaier was originally drafted into the big leagues with the Tampa Bay Rays.
