ROCHESTER, Ill. (WAND) - If you have taken a stroll around Rochester High School, you may have noticed some construction going on.
It is all part of a $26 million project that has built a brand new turf soccer field and is building a new football stadium and track.
The new soccer field is made with pivot turf, which does not use any rubber pellets.
They also added a geo cool material that will help regulate temperature of the turf to keep players safe in the heat
