SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Women's Pro Baseball League has announced the four teams set to compete in its inaugural season. 

According to the WPBL's website, the teams are the Boston Hunters, New York Heights, Los Angeles Queens and the San Francisco Firebells.

The WPBL will begin league play Aug. 1 at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield.

Each of the four teams will play 15 games to determine playoff seeding in September.
