A gorgeous weekend ahead

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Friday! It was a phenomenal Thursday, and those beautiful conditions will continue through the next few days. Temperatures will start in the upper 40s and low 50s this morning. Temperatures will warm up even faster than on Thursday. High temperatures top off in the low 80s with a mix of sun and clouds.

Clouds will move out overnight, and temperatures will drop into the mid-40s for Saturday morning. Temperatures will soar with nothing but sunshine through Saturday. Temperatures will be even warmer on Sunday with highs in the low 80s.

A big change will happen Sunday evening as a cold front pushes in from the north. Shower chances look to stay just outside Central Illinois as this front moves through the region. The big change will be the temperatures. Expect temperatures to drop over 50 degrees overnight into Monday morning.

High temperatures will start next week, much closer to average in the 50s. Temperatures will again warm up throughout the week with above-average highs by Wednesday.
