DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Tuesday! The severe weather threat has moved out of the region. There will still be several rounds of showers and storms through the afternoon and evening today. Another half inch to an inch of rain is possible through the overnight hours. Areas along and south of I-70 will see higher totals. Temperatures will be steady in the low to mid-50s through the evening.

Temperatures will cool off into the 40s overnight as showers exit. Temperatures will bounce back into the upper 50s by Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will be steadily warming up through the rest of the week. Dry conditions with partly cloudy skies will hang around through the middle of the week.

Scattered shower chances will return on Friday. Temperatures will continue to warm up into the 70s through the weekend. Saturday is looking beautiful as temperatures are expected to hit the mid-70s. Rain chances return by Mother's Day Sunday.
