Adding raindrops back to the forecast

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Saturday! The weekend starts with a few raindrops for some, and raindrops are on the horizon.

Nearby low pressure brings more moisture to the southern and southwestern portions of the region today. This has allowed a few light sprinkles to percolate into the region early this morning. However, with high-pressure centers over the Great Lakes today, we’ll be mainly dry, albeit partly sunny, throughout the afternoon. Highs today are in the low 80s.

Tonight, most remain dry and mostly cloudy, and we’ll be breezy. Lows are in the low 60s and upper 50s. By tomorrow, we’ll be tracking another surge of moisture that will last through Monday to support a few isolated showers Sunday afternoon and again Monday morning.
