DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Thursday! It will be another mild day overall as temperatures warm up slowly into the upper 60s. We will have partly to mostly sunny skies for the morning, but clouds will build into the area this afternoon. This will keep temperatures from hitting the 70s. Overnight lows will be a bit warmer in the 50s.
Overcast skies will take over for Friday. Rain chances will ramp up through the day. A low-pressure system will move through the Midwest, and this will flip the winds from north to south. Warmer temperatures will move in for the weekend with the southerly winds.
Temperatures will warm up into the upper 70s for Saturday afternoon. Rain chances will return for the back half of the weekend, with rain chances staying just to the south. Hot and humid conditions will move in for next week. Above-average temperatures in the 80s will take over for next week.
