DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Sunshine that started our Friday gave way to some clouds. Said clouds, unfortunately, will not cough up much more than a sprinkle or two. The reason why there is no bona fide rain is quickly answered by Friday's dew points.

It is quite dry across the entire state, let alone Central Illinois. That really will not change much over the next week, despite a couple waves of moisture trying to bring showers back into the picture starting Monday.
This means a prolonged serious drought, but also a picturesque weekend to enjoy outdoors as some fall colors are showing up.
