DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - October temperatures are still running well above average, but this week will be a cooler one.
After the passage of a cold front that brought much-needed rain to Central Illinois Saturday into Sunday morning, a chill is the air to kick off the new week.
Abundant sunshine today with highs around 70° will be followed by a few showers, especially north tonight and tomorrow.
It'll be rather windy, too, with gusts to 40 mph possible.
Highs for the rest of the week will be around 60°-65°.
By Wednesday night, scattered frost is possible as lows drop into the 30s.
