(WAND) - A quiet weekend is just around the corner for central Illinois.

A cold front brought showers and thunderstorms, with small hail, to some of us last evening. Â

Skies will become mostly sunny today. It'll be breezy and cooler with highs in the 50s.

Saturday starts out frosty and cold with lows around freezing. A "Freeze Warning" is in effect across our eastern hometowns from 2-9 a.m. Saturday.
Â
Sunshine will warm us into the low-to-mid-60s Saturday and to around 70° Sunday.

A few showers are back in the forecast Monday.
