DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Intense heat and increasing humidity builds back in across Central Illinois today and Friday.
We'll reach the low-90s today and the low-to-mid-90s Friday. However, it'll feel much closer to 100°.
Patchy dense fog is possible this morning with a few showers and storms popping up this afternoon into tonight.
Severe weather is possible Friday night as storms make their way across northern Illinois and some of them could make it into Central Illinois. Damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain are our biggest threats.
Showers and storms are likely Saturday into early Saturday night. Some of those storms could be on the strong side, too.
