URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Urbana is marking the groundbreaking of a new fire stations.
The City of Urbana, Urbana Fire Department, and the Fire Station Project Team will hold a ceremony at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday at 1205 West Bradley Avenue, Urbana.
“We are thrilled to break ground on the new, state-of-the art fire stations that have been designed with fire fighter health and wellness at the forefront. We are not just building; we are investing in our neighbors and the future public safety of our community,” Diane Wolfe Marlin, Urbana Mayor, said.
