DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Decatur Public Transit received eight new vans as part of the microtransit fleet.
The vans are ADA accessible and were fully funded through Illinois Department of Transportation grants. The Chrysler Voyagers will be branded like the existing Decatur Moves van.
DPT is hoping to launch the microtransit program this summer. It's meant to operate similar to rideshare services like Uber and Lyft.
