DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Former Mayor of Decatur Mike "Tuna" McElroy will be honored with an induction to the City of Decatur Hall of Fame on Friday, June 20.
Current Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe announced the ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. in the lobby of the Decatur Civic Center.
Members of the McElroy family will be at the ceremony as the honorary plaque is revealed.
McElroy was the mayor for six years before passing away in 2015.
