God's Shelter of Love has announced Arianna Fane as the organization's new executive director.

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - God's Shelter of Love has announced Arianna Fane as the organization's new executive director.

GSL said in a press release Tuesday that Fane replaces Dan Watkins at the position, whose final day with the organization came during the annual Blue Jean Ball Oct. 9.

Watkins will continue serving as the acting executive director through Dec. 31, according to GSL.

GSL stated that Fane, a Decatur native, is a MacArthur High School and Lincoln Land Community College graduate, and has experience in leadership and human services in the nonprofit industry.

“I have a deep love for the Decatur community and feel truly blessed to serve in this capacity. It’s an honor to walk alongside each guest on her journey toward stability and renewed purpose, offering encouragement, dignity and a reminder of God’s love along the way,” Fane said in a statement.
