FARMER CITY, Ill. (WAND) - Ready for a tail with a happy ending?
A Boston terrier named Baby was reunited with her family after getting loose from her house, going missing for around six weeks with little sightings, according to DeWitt County Animal Control.Â
Not only was she located only a few blocks from home, but she was found in a well.Â
The DeWitt County Animal Shelter said that Farmer City employees found Baby in the well after hearing her barking near a home set for demolition.Â
Baby's owner was contacted on the scene and did not appear to be hurt or stuck in the well for too long.Â
