God’s Shelter of Love is hosting its Blue Jean Ball

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Bust out your boots and your denim — it’s time to party for a purpose!

God’s Shelter of Love is hosting its Blue Jean Ball Thursday night in Decatur, bringing the community together for a free evening of fun, food, and fundraising — all to support homeless women and children in Macon County.

The event promises a casual, feel-good atmosphere filled with live music, delicious food, and of course, lots of blue jeans. Attendees are encouraged to dress down and show up in their best denim while enjoying the night's festivities.

While admission is free, donations are welcome and will go directly toward helping local families facing homelessness — an issue God's Shelter of Love says continues to impact too many in the area.

Whether you're going for the music or the mission, tonight’s Blue Jean Ball offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while keeping things lighthearted and stylish.
