SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Springfield Police Department will participate in National Night Out happening next week.Â
National Night Out, an event that strengthens relationships between police and the community, will take place Tuesday at various locations across the Capitol City.Â
The full schedule is as follows, according to Springfield police:
- Bonansinga: 1 p.m.
- Hildebrandt: 2 p.m.
- The Villas: 3 p.m.
- Hy-Vee: 4–7:30 p.m.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Illinois: 4–7 p.m.
- Enos Park: 4:30–6:30 p.m.
- Brandon Court: 5–7 p.m.
- Westminster Presbyterian: 5–7 p.m.
- Johnson Park: 5–7 p.m.
- Madison Park Place: 5–7 p.m.
- Twin Lakes: 5:30–7:30 p.m.
- Trevi Gardens: 6–8 p.m.
- Hawthorne Place: 6–8 p.m.
- Harrison Park: 6–8 p.m.
- Iles Park Pavilion: 6–8 p.m.
Community members can talk to officers and participate in various activities in their neighborhoods.Â
