(WAND) - Illinois American Water is experiencing a supply/distribution issue affecting the system that serves Tuscola, Arcola, and West Prairie, due to Thursday night's storm.Â
The communities have been asked to voluntarily conserve water until they work to restore normal service levels.
Residents are encouraged to limit water usage until further notice by:
- Delaying laundry and dish washing when possible
- Avoiding lawn watering and other outdoor water use
- Taking shorter showers
- Turning off faucets when not in use
- Conserving water wherever practical
