WILLIAMSVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - The Williamsville-Sherman Teen Gift and Community Food Drive is returning for its 34th year.
Williamsville High School students will deliver collection bags to homes in Williamsville, Sherman and Andrew from Wednesday, Nov. 26, to Sunday, Nov. 30.Â
Community members are encouraged to fill the bag with non-perishable food items. Bags must be placed on front porches by Saturday, Dec. 6, and then volunteers will collect them that morning.
Food will be delivered to Contact Ministries in Springfield on Dec. 8.Â
WHS students and staff have donated over $107,000 to Contact Ministries and other local charities since 2000, according to a press release from the school.
