3-year-old child killed in Decatur house fire identified

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A 3-year-old child who was killed in a house fire in Decatur Saturday has been identified. 

The coroner identified the child as Davian Cash Baker of Decatur. 

The Decatur Fire Department was called to a home on Jackson St. near Decatur St. just after 7 p.m. 

Firefighters found the child in the second floor of the home. The child was rushed to the hospital but died from their injuries. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
