Decatur-You may have noticed a bunch of construction on the south side of Decatur. Blain’s Farm and Fleet on South Side Drive got a complete overhaul. The company, based in Janesville Wisconsin is nearing the end of the complete renovation of the store. It will hold a Grand Re Opening May 19th-21st. In fact, as a part of the reinvestment in Decatur, during the Grand Re Opening Event there will be more than $10,000 in prizes given out. Special sales will be happening just at the Decatur Store, as well.
Outside during that event you’ll notice a lot of activity. There will be demonstrations from DeWalt, Milwaukee, Craftsman, Hobart, Valspar, Weber and more!
Decatur is home to Farm & Fleet’s 27th store. It opened in September of 1986. The family owned company sent a release saying it’s proud and was ready to reinvest in this location, giving it a much deserved facelift.
The Decatur store currently employs 74 hourly associates and five members of management.
