The parade for Champaign's annual Freedom Celebration had to be canceled because of the rain. Now, the Celebration Committee has announced all parade entry fees will be refunded.
The annual Fourth of July parade was canceled this year for the first time in its 60 year history. All refunds will be sent out over the next two weeks. The Freedom Celebration itself was also canceled on the 4th, but was rescheduled for the 5th.
