EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WAND) - An Effingham man was arrested after a search warrant uncovered a significant amount of meth and other controlled substances.Â
The ILEAS Special Response Team assisted the Effingham County Sheriff's Office, Effingham police and the DEA to execute a search warrant on March 9 at 108 S. Willow Street in Effingham.Â
Effingham officials said the warrant uncovered a large amount of crystal meth, "magic mushrooms," DMT, a DMT extraction laboratory and other controlled substances.
According to Effingham police, 38-year-old Allen Matlock was arrested for the following charges:
- Meth delivery (15-100 grams)
- Possession of meth (15-100 grams)
- Controlled substance delivery (50-200 grams)
- Manufacture of a controlled substance (400-900 grams)
- Possession of a controlled substance (400-900 grams)
Matlock is in custody in the Effingham County Jail.
