JOLIET, Ill. (WAND) — The woman accused of concealing her husband's death and dumping his remains in Lake Mattoon pleaded not guilty on Monday.
Illinois State Police arrested 62-year-old Robin Turner and 26-year-old James Adams on July 1, days after boaters discovered part of Dalewayne Turner's severed arm floating in the lake.
Turner and Adams were charged with dismembering Dalewayne and concealing his death before dumping his remains in the lake. Both are also now facing first-degree murder charges.
Turner pleaded not guilty in court Monday morning. Adams also pleaded not guilty last week. His pre-trial hearing is set for September 10.
